We Can Build Emergency Assistance Funds for Survivors

This Giving Tuesday, I’m supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Uinta County by raising funds for the Sexual Assault & Family Violence (SAFV) Task Force, Inc. I have had the privilege of collaborating with survivors, advocates, and communities for thirty years, and I think how we come together to offer hope, support, and care matters for creating change. I have seen all communities in Uinta County come together to support community folks in times of need, and Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to show up for survivors across our county.

From now through Giving Tuesday on December 2nd, together, we can create change and be there for survivors by donating emergency funding to SAFV Task Force. Even a small contribution can go a long way to support survivors in accessing help for safety, hope, and healing.

My goal is to raise $1,500 towards SAFV’s campaign goal of $16,000 to ensure survivors have ongoing access to support.. Every dollar is meaningful. What you do matters, and what we do together matters.
